Lisa King

Founder at Eat My Lunch and AF Drinks

“Having a social purpose is no longer an emerging trend, it's a requirement for every business”

Lisa King is the founder of Eat My Lunch, one of NZ's most successful for-profit social enterprises on a mission to ensure no child goes to school hungry. Lisa believes that business cannot just be about profits anymore and that business can (and should) bring about social change.

In 2020, Lisa also founded AF Drinks, making her mission to normalize a healthier relationship with alcohol. Lover of gin-and-tonics, she decided she needed to bridge the gap between enjoyable, grown-up, alcohol-free drinks and a brand that could actually lead a shift in perspective.

Lisa was MYOB's Woman Entrepreneur of the Year in 2019, as well as a finalist for New Zealander of the Year and the first Kiwi to be chosen to be part of the Cartier Women's Initiative.
